- At its September meeting, the board of directors voted to go on record in support of the proposed city sales tax increase, which will be on the Nov. 8 ballot. - Daycare availability impacts workforce. After an EDC board recommendation, the City of Grand Forks Growth Fund and Jobs Development Authority approved the state’s FlexPACE – Daycare program among those that may be considered for funding support.
