- John Eickhof, co-founder of Construction Engineers, retired from the EDC board of directors. He served as an EDC volunteer for 17 years. He said, “An EDC board membership is a coveted position and I will forever cherish my time spend working with all of you for the benefit of Grand Forks. “
- The EDC board reviewed and recommended approval of support for three expansion projects totalling $65.5 million of new capital investment in the region.

- Business Development Manager Brandon Baumbach has been selected to the Red River Corridor Fund review committee. The fund supports job creation by providing access to captial through loan guarantees and angel fund investment to small business.
- EDC President & CEO Keith Lund traveled with Grand Forks Mayor Michael Brown and City Administrator Todd Feland to Lodz, Poland to meet with university and community partners. They explored research and business development opportunities and ways to build on the partnership started with BioMass Solution, which is building Red River Biorefinery.
