- The Grand Forks Growth Fund approved the first Start Up Grand Forks project, a new fund providing micro-loans to help launch Grand Forks’ newest businesses.

- Terry Sando was the featured speaker for a Bank of North Dakota meeting with community bankers, discussing frontier investing opportunities in the UAS industry. He also spoke to attendees at the Midwest Airport Managers Association regional meeting.
- Speaking of Terry, his last day as the EDC’s Director of UAS Sector Development was Aug. 31. We wish him well in his new role with international UAS company Esmart.
- Business Development Manager Brandon Baumbach led a session during the UAS Summit’s student access day, profiling the entrepreneurial opportunities and resources.
