- More than 40 employers hosted nearly 180 college students for Career Conversations, a Northern Valley Careers workforce retention event aimed at helping area college students connect with employers and potential career opportunities in the region.
- Congratulations to EDC investor and client Minnkota Power Cooperative on the official opening of your new corporate headquarters. EDC President & CEO Keith Lund was among those to speak at the ribbon cutting event. “This investment demonstrates Minnkota’s strong commitment to the Grand Forks region,” Lund said.

- We attended the Grand Forks state of the city luncheon, where Mayor Brown and a panel that included EDC Strategic Initiatives Coordinator & GGFYP President Becca Cruger profiled ways the city supports and promotes efforts to lead locally as a means to enriching the community.
- EDC President & CEO Keith Lund and BRIC Coordinator Tom Ford were appointed by Gov. Burgum to represent the Grand Forks region on the state’s newly formed COMPASS committee. The Committee on Military Promotion and Strategic Sustainment brings together the state’s military communities to collectively identify and support strategies for base retention and economic opportunities.
- February’s Drone Biz featured Seth Hutcherson with Skyward, an Verizon company. Hutcherson shared ways Skyward helps UAS companies scale effectively and safely, and also highlighted opportunities the company sees for engaging with partners in the Grand Forks region.
