The Grand Forks Region Economic Development Corporation (EDC) has announced three new officers on their board of directors. Jonathan Holth, community & client development manager at JLG, is board chair; John Oncken, CEO of True North Equipment, is board vice chair; and Shawn Gaddie, division manager at AE2S Nexus, is secretary-treasurer. Robert “Mac” McLennan, President & CEO of Minnkota Power Cooperative, just ended his two-year term as board chair and will continue on as a board member.
“We are fortunate to have committed and strong leadership from diverse industry backgrounds on the EDC board of directors. They are passionate about success of local business and the growth of our regional economy,” said Keith Lund, EDC President & CEO.
The EDC board of directors is made up of 11 individuals who provide economic development strategy for the region and make project funding and policy recommendations to the city’s Growth Fund and Jobs Development Authority.
The EDC advisory board also has four new appointees: Josh Reidy (Airtonomy), Tommy Kenville (Isight RVP), Tony Pierce (Philadelphia Macaroni) and Alan Silletto (Edgewood Healthcare). The new members will begin their first term at the beginning of 2021. The EDC advisory board members meet with the board of directors, providing input into the organization’s strategies and to reviewing local and state economic development initiatives.
