Mylo Einarson, Sally Miskavige, and Cory Melland join the EDC board of directors. Thank you, Tammy Peterson and Robert “Mac” McLennan who transition out of their board role after nine years of service.
GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The Grand Forks Region Economic Development Corporation welcomes three new members to its board of directors! Mylo Einarson, President & CEO of Nodak Electric Cooperative; Sally Miskavige, Vice President of Opp Construction; and Cory Melland, President of PS Industries, Inc. were elected by the EDC member companies to their first three-year term and began their role as of January 1st, 2024. Transitioning out of their board of director roles are Tammy Peterson of Bremer Bank, and Robert “Mac” McLennan of Minnkota Power Cooperative. Both Tammy and Mac served the maximum of three, three-year terms or nine years in total.
“A tremendous thank you to Tammy and Mac who have served on the board for nine years, each serving as Board Chair for two years during their tenure. The Grand Forks region would not be what it is today without their leadership,” said Keith Lund, EDC President & CEO. “We are fortunate to have committed and strong leaders from diverse industry backgrounds to fill their shoes. Welcome to our three new board members, Mylo, Cory, and Sally who are passionate about the success of local businesses and the growth of our regional economy.”
The board of directors members are selected to serve three-year terms, with a maximum of three consecutive terms. The group of 11 is the voting body, overseeing Grand Forks Region EDC operations, providing economic development strategy for the region, and making project funding recommendations to the city’s Growth Fund and Jobs Development Authority.
The EDC advisory board has four new appointees: Richard Glynn of the Bioscience Association of North Dakota, Mike Gowan of Gowan Construction, Brock Sherva of Northwood Deaconess Health Center, and Tricia Weber of LM Wind Power. The new advisory board members began their first term on January 1st, 2024. The EDC advisory board members meet with the board of directors, providing input into the organization’s strategies and local and state economic development initiatives.
