Let’s get outside! During the winter months in Grand Forks, try out snowmobiling or cross-country skiing. When the weather’s a bit warmer, tackle a new challenge at the Spring Thaw, a Grand Forks marathon race, or the Summer Sole, a 10-mile, 10K, and 5K race. Go golfing at King’s Walk, an Arnold Palmer Signature Course. On a nice spring day, go walking, running, or biking on The Greenway: 2,200 acres of parkland in the heart of Grand Forks.
If you’d rather stay inside, we have plenty of activities year-round as well. Watch UND National Championship hockey at the world-famous Ralph Englestad Arena, or catch a local basketball or baseball game. Take your pick of activities at Choice Health & Wellness, a 162,000-square-foot health and happiness center that has something for the whole family. Enjoy tennis, volleyball, basketball, swimming and more. Catch a concert at the Alerus Center, or visit the Grand Forks Library to pick out some new reading material. For something a bit more adventurous, visit Splasher’s of the South Seas, a massive 40,000-square-foot indoor waterpark packed full of fun.
