  • The EDC and the UND Center for Innovation have launched InternGF 2020 (launch event pictured above). InternGF is a unique partnership designed to introduce UND students to careers and employers in our region. Apply today!
  • The Grand Forks Region EDC and University of North Dakota College of Engineering & Mines (CEM) hosted about 50 industry partners at a High Tech Luncheon. UND is investing $22 million in a Computational Science/Big Data Initiative. Ryan Adams, Director of the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, hopes to gain insights from companies that may benefit from activities of the initiative. 
  • The Red River Biorefinery is nearing completion. The 80,000-square-foot facility will transform agricultural waste into fuel and was highlighted at the North Dakota Energy Conference and Expo.

  • Senator Ray Holmberg and the Valley Prosperity Partnership brought legislators and business leaders from the Grand Forks region together for quick-paced, moderated discussions on issues important to the Red River Valley leading up to the next legislative session. 
  • Need a LIFT? The Innovative Technology Loan Fund (LIFT), is a new $15 million fund that provides financing for commercialization of intellectual property within North Dakota. Applications are now open!  
  • Collin Hanson is stepping down as Executive Director of Evolve Grand Forks. Over the past 3 years, Collin has advanced the Evolve GF mission of empowering and supporting the culture of entrepreneurship in Greater Grand Forks. We thank him for his service for the betterment of our community!
